John Leggott College's Oxbridge admissions tutor, Joe McDonald, said: "We were pleased to hear the news from Oxford University, and were not surprised because both are excellent students with lively, engaging personalities - the link with the geography department is an excellent one." The new roles taken on by the girls, he said, could only serve to enhance the college's, excellent' reputation at Oxford. "Our students applying to Oxford University in future years can only benefit from this profile," added Mr McDonald.
