PEACE
Take me, Lord, from busy~ness
To a place of quietness
From the turmoil without cease
Into your great unending peace.
Help me then, my Lord, to see
What I am and ought to be

The peace of quiet hours
The peace of sleeping children
The peace of the rising sun
The peace when a day is done
The peace of the deepest sea
The peace of God's love
The peace of God dwelling in you
The peace of Christ and Spirit too

Mighty Father
In times of stress
Grant us your peacefulness


In times of weakness
Grant us your forcefulness.


In times of distress
Grant us your hopefulness

In times of sadness
Grant us your joyfulness

And give us an awareness that all will be well,
all manner of things will be well.
